I wonder what chemicals the polyurethane has in it and what the environmental impact is, whether it can be recycled or not? Not sure. It’s interesting that it does not compare itself to polyester?

My understanding is that because polyester is synthetic, that its not a favorite for eating – having said this, rats happily eat through wiring and other plastic substances…..

Maybe, the best product to use, that will prevent the rats eating it – is something loaded with chemicals that are not environmentally supportive?
