    Hey everyone,

I saw the great discussion on the Hub last year about draft-proofing/weatherising Kiwi homes: https://practitionershub.org.nz/forums/topic/whither-weatherising/

As a follow up to this, does anyone have much experience/success in draft proofing sash windows?

In Wellington I often see a need to seal these kinds of windows.
One of our volunteers says he successfully used V-seal weather stripping on sash windows. I can’t really see how that would be effective.

Also, to introduce myself, I work as a home performance advisor for Sustainability Trust in Wellington. Greetings!

    Hi Simon

I didn’t get a notification about your questions, so I’m wondering if anybody else did either. I’ll check with Phil the developed and see if they’re being sent and hope you get a response!

    Cheers
