    Hi Forum members

This query came to one of our members recently and we thought it was worth sharing here:

Query: do you think dust masks need to be included in our mould cleaning kit? We currently provide the family with a mould cleaning kit consisting of bucket, vinegar, scrubbing brush, soft cloth and instructions.

Our member’s answer: I would take the cautious approach and say yes definitely wear a face mask, some mould spores are incredibly toxic and during the cleaning process they are likely to be disturbed and some spores will be released into the air.

Here is a website to some interesting info regarding dealing with mould on different type of material and surfaces. Haven’t tried any of them so can’t vouch for the accuracy or effectiveness of the recommendations but some of them sound worth a try:?

Feel free to add any other thoughts or advice
