Are you passionate about creating healthier homes and improving the usage of energy and home performance?
We’re seeking a positive and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Eco Design Advisor to help support and promote the health and wellbeing of the residents of Dunedin.
The Eco Design Advisor is responsible for one to one sustainable design advice to people planning or in the process of building or renovating a home. The primary goal of this position is to act as an advocate for creating healthier homes by improving the usage of energy with an aim to enhance and promote the health and wellbeing of the residents of Dunedin.
The Eco Design Advisor service is aimed at providing free, practical, independent, customised advice on sustainable design, retrofitting and renovation of residential buildings to home owners, tenants, designers, developers, builders and community groups.
You’ll need to actively promote the Eco Design Advisor service and engage with a range of different stakeholders, alongside providing excellent customer service and solutions. Relationship management is crucial to this role so we need someone who is able to work with multiple strategic partners. Ideally you will already have Home Performance Advisor Certification or equivalent, but if you come from a building/fit out background, possess a keen interest in sustainable home design or similar, then we would be keen to hear from you and for the right candidate help you gain the required certification.

Salary range: $58,349 to $68,646
