Update II: Digest emails, bugs and fixes.

Its good to see people logging in to the Hub as they get back into work mode.

In this update I’ve covered off a couple of new things we’ve added, and a few things that are coming up as we start to use the site more.

Digest emails

We’ve just installed a new email digest system which will send you a daily email of new topics in the forums. This means you don’t have to log in just to see if there is a discussion taking place that you’re interested in. I know some of you won’t want an email every day so you have the option of choosing to receive it weekly, or not at all. Have a look at the video Phill has made of how to do this. Or click on the link in the Right Hand menu bar to the Forum Digest Emails page.

Since I’ve been back from holiday, I’ve been working with Phill (the site developer) to set up the Best Practice Library. The library is now installed and ready to use. You will find a link in the right hand tool bar or you can connect to the Upload page from here.

At the workshop we wanted to find ways we could support independent advisors to be effective in a really challenging environment. One where there is little funding, co-ordination, or resources for advice but a pressing need for the type of change in New Zealand homes that a trusted, independent advisor can help bring about.
